Let’s embark on a journey into the realm of biohacking wellness, where the synergy of science and nature converges to elevate your health. As an ozone therapy enthusiast and advocate, I am thrilled to guide you through the cutting-edge advancements that harness the power of Extracorporeal Blood Oxygenation and Ozonation (EBOO). Discover the secrets of optimizing your well-being and unlocking the potential for enhanced vitality and longevity.
EBOO is an advanced method for administering ozone to the body. During an EBOO therapy session, your blood is immersed in a constant stream of ozone and oxygen over the course of an hour. This process is facilitated through a specialized filter designed to enable optimal and gentle exposure of ozone to your body. The treatment involves 2 IV sites, one to draw the blood and one to return the treated blood back to the body. This therapy delivers a very high dose of ozone at a relatively low concentration, which can result in a more gentle, well-tolerated therapy.
Let’s look more in-depth at ozone. Ozone (O3) is a highly potent, supercharged form of oxygen composed of three atoms. It can be considered as ‘super oxygen,’ and given that oxygen is a crucial nutrient for our bodies, ozone has beneficial effects on every part of the body. It serves as a powerful detoxifier, rejuvenator, and physiological modifier.
In terms of safety, over a century of experience and research, with over 2,000 published papers in medical literature, demonstrate Ozone-Oxygen therapy as one of the most powerful and versatile therapies known today. Ozone therapies are deemed safe and effective, with a minimal rate of moderate or severe side effects (0.0007% out of over 5.5 million ozone treatments). Inhaled ozone may cause minor respiratory irritation, so caution is advised. Currently, ozone therapies are not approved by the FDA.
Medical use of ozone should be approached carefully in individuals with specific conditions, including a deficiency of the glucose-6-phosphate enzyme (G6PD), bleeding tendencies, blood thinner medications, low platelet count, overactive thyroid, or during pregnancy.
Ozone therapy works by stimulating the body toward homeostasis, creating mild oxidative stress, and activating the NRF2 pathway. This pathway, a master regulator of antioxidant, detoxification, and cell defense gene expression, plays a key role in various physiological processes. Ozone therapy enhances blood flow, improves oxygen delivery to tissues, and increases energy production.
Ozone therapy forms compounds called Ozonides, which penetrate cell membranes, oxidize NADH back to NAD, and help maintain an optimal NAD/NADH ratio. It modulates the immune system, has a significant effect on cytokine production, and acts as a broad-spectrum germicide against viruses, bacteria, parasites, and more.
The therapeutic benefits of ozone include neutralizing free radicals, addressing neurological diseases, cardiovascular issues, diabetes, immune enhancement, and supporting complementary cancer therapy.
Additionally, ozone may benefit in assisting in the following conditions:
Neutralizes Free Radicals (which contribute to all diseases listed below)
Neurological Diseases
Cardiovascular Disease
Atherosclerosis & Arterial Blood Vessel Plaque
Poor Cholesterol / Triglycerides
Cardiac Insufficiency
Angina / Claudication
Diabetes
Stroke
High Blood Pressure
ESRD (end stage renal disease)
Arthritis
Liver Disease
Psoriasis
Immune Enhancer (integral to complementary cancer therapy support)
Ozone kills Fungi, Viruses, and Bacteria, Protozoa, Parasites, Mycoplasma and spirochetes via immune system enhancement
Lyme and Co-Infections
Mold exposure and toxicity
Chronic Hepatitis
Herpes
Chronic fatigue
Chemical sensitivity
Detoxification
Macular degeneration
Auto-immune Diseases
Eczema and psoriasis
And many more…
Though there are no “magic bullets”, EBOO can be an effective adjunctive tool for promoting and restoring health. It can be utilized in cases of illness, as well as for those looking to prevent illness and optimize their health proactively.
