This might be because you have gut issues which, in turn, are affecting your overall health. Here are 3 ways to protect your gut and brain health:
1. Try an elimination diet. This can help you identify any food sensitivities or allergies you might have.
2. Stop snacking so much! Fasting may be a good idea for your health needs (when we say “fasting,” we mean going 12 or so hours without eating.) Ask our office for assistance with this.
3. Watch your carb intake. Refined and processed breads, crackers, pastas, and baked goods — are some of the major culprits that lead to unhealthy inflammation in the body. Eat more nutrient dense foods like colorful veggies and fruits and healthy oils like coconut oil!
If you want to optimize brain health, the first place to turn your attention to is your gut health. This is because our modern diets, stress levels, and environmental exposures have all wreaked havoc on gut health, which is intricately connected to our brain health.
